    Week 11 Top Performers: Mabrey, Ziemborska, Casas, Fiebich, Magbegor

    MUNICH (Germany) - The action resumed after the winter break with some superb individual displays during Gameday 11 as the pace picked up in the scramble to make the Quarter-Finals.

    Leonie Fiebich  of Casademont Zaragoza came out on top in the Player of the Week voting with 65 percent of the tally, with Aleksandra Ziemborska collecting 25 percent of the votes to finish second.

    Marina Mabrey helped Cukurova Basketbol Mersin get back on track with a near triple-double performance in the 66-59 win at KGHM BC Polkowice. The guard caught fire and stepped off court having bagged 25 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds. 

    Having struggled during their rookie campaign, Polski Cukier AZS UMCS Lublin enjoyed picking up their second win as they completely locked down DVTK HUN-Therm 56-37. It was Aleksandra Ziemborska who did the business for the Polish side as she weighed in with a double-double of 19 points, 10 rebounds - as well as a  stellar 6 steals.

    Queralt Casas was the heart of Valencia Basket Club returning to winning ways as they eased their way to a 71-61 victory at ACS Sepsi-SIC. The Spanish ace impressed with 21 points as she shot the lights out, also grabbing 4 rebounds and 2 steals.

    Casademont Zaragoza stand on the verge of making the Quarter-Finals in their first season and their latest success came mainly due to Leonie Fiebich. The German star delivered a double-double of 12 point and 12 rebounds, plus 3 assists and 2 steals as they dug out a nail-biting 63-60 win at home to LDLC ASVEL Feminin.

    Ezi Magbegor was again one of the leading lights for Group B leaders ZVVZ USK Praha as they secured their safe passage into the post-season by landing a Quarter-Finals ticket off the back of beating Perfumerias Avenida 78-64. The center posted a typically smart and efficient display that returned 12 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists.
