Marina Mabrey continued her red-hot campaign with yet another headline-grabbing display for Cukurova Basketbol Mersin. The guard showed out in the decisive 86-63 victory against Casademont Zaragoza with a stunning 16 points and 14 assists - passing the rock more than anyone else this season outside of the Qualifiers. She also strongly flirted with landing a triple-double by pulling down 8 rebounds.
Villeneuve d'Ascq LM had a memorable and historic night in Hungary as they secured a 73-58 win over DVTK HUN-Therm. It was Kariata Diaby and Janelle Salaun who did the bulk of the damage and propelled the French club to their maiden Final Four.
Diaby stepped off the court having racked up a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds, as well as 2 blocks. Meanwhile Salaun made some tough plays and registered a fine 16 points, 7 boards and 2 steals.
While there was disappointment for home favorite Reka Lelik for missing out on Final Four, the Hungarian national team ace did at least sign off in front of a massive crowd with a nice individual haul of 7 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists.
Finally, ZVVZ USK Praha are heading to the flagship stage of the season, with forward Nyara Sabally relishing the chance to play at her first Final Four. She was the difference-maker in her team inking a 74-54 triumph against Beretta Famila Schio after she produced 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
