MERSIN (Türkiye) - The EuroLeague Women Final Four is destined to be another highly cosmopolitan event with no fewer than 17 different nationalities attending the flagship tournament in Mersin, Türkiye.
Domestic players and coaches from the countries of those qualified clubs obviously make up a significant chunk, with six Turkish participants from hosts CBK Mersin Yenisehir Bld and seven from reigning champions Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding.
There is also a strong homegrown flavor for Czechia and France too, as you might expect. There are six Czech players from ZVVZ USK Praha and 11 French representatives from Villeneuve d'Ascq LM who are stepping out at the end of season showpiece.
In fact, it is France who have the highest number of representatives across Final Four as a whole with 15, followed by Türkiye with 13.
Meanwhile, continuing the long standing track record of USA players leaving a positive imprint on the competition, there are six taking part this time, plus a small number who have been naturalized by other nations.
