EuroLeague Women Final Four lineup complete

MUNICH (Germany) - The lineup for the EuroLeague Women Final Four is now set after the completion of the Quarter-Finals on Wednesday.

Reigning champions Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding were joined by Turkish compatriots Cukurova Basketbol Mersin as well as Czech side ZVVZ USK Praha and Villeneuve d'Ascq LM of France in securing a series victory in the last eight matchups. 

Villeneuve are the sole newcomers to the Final Four stage, and they will meet 2015 winners Praha in the Semi-Finals. The other matchup will see a repeat of last season's Final as Fenerbahce and Cukurova renew their rivalry.

The confirmed Semi-Finals pairings are as follows:

Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding (TUR) vs Cukurova Basketbol Mersin (TUR)
ZVVZ USK Praha (CZE) vs Villeneuve d'Ascq LM (FRA)

Cukurova ended the run of tournament debutantes Casademont Zaragoza in a 2-1 victory to set up a clash with Fenerbahce, who had already seen off Spanish side Perfumerias Avenida 2-0 to continue their title defense with a fourth consecutive trip to the Final Four.

Villeneuve defeated DVTK HUN-Therm by 15 in the series decider on the road, while Praha pulled clear of Beretta Famila Schio in Game 3 to book their spot in the Final Four for a third successive year.

The season finale is scheduled to take place on April 12-14 with the venue for the Final Four to be confirmed at a later stage.
