PRAGUE (CZECH REPUBLIC) - Playing some of the best basketball of her career, Valeriane Vukosavljevic has been breathing absolute fire on the court for ZVVZ USK Praha ever since her return from maternity leave.
As part of a Proudly Woman series focused on EuroLeague Women players, Vukosavljevic, her teammates and her husband provided a unique insight into the balance between basketball and family life.
Enjoying her most productive season in EuroLeague Women, being both a mother and an elite player is certainly suiting the French star hugely. "To become a mom is the best accomplishment I had in my life - definitely," said Vukosavljevic.

Meanwhile Praha's leading light and USA standout Alyssa Thomas revealed: "She had a baby and now she is back. She is definitely one of my favorite teammates to play with.
"Just seeing her [Valeriane] as a mom and in a whole different world has been fun to watch. I am glad I am a part of it and able to see her in this light," smiled the forward.
Meanwhile with more than 16 points per game and in the top three on her team in efficiency, scoring and rebounding, there is no doubt that the winger is absolutely flying on the floor as ZVVZ USK Praha chase another Final Four appearance.
"It is one of her best seasons this year," confirmed FIBA Hall of Famer and five-time EuroLeague Women winner Natalia Hejkova who currently coaches Vukosavljevic.
