MUNICH (Germany) - Fenerbahce Safiport wrapped up their Regular Season campaign in style on Saturday night with a ninth straight victory, while ZVVZ USK Praha finished on a winning note as well.
The Turkish giants completed their EuroLeague Women Group B with an 82-65 home court success against Beretta Famila Schio, although it was not as comfortable as the result suggests.
Blasting their way into what should have been an unassailable 28-2 advantage, Fenerbahce were left stunned when the visitors clawed their way back and even took a 46-45 lead.
However, Fenerbahce re-discovered top gear in the last period and pulled clear to sign off with 11 wins, three losses and plenty of momentum to take into the Quarter-Finals.

Satou Sabally impressed with 24 points and 6 rebounds, with Elizabeth Williams also doing good work, adding 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks alongside 9 points.
Ending 8-6 in the group, a win would have taken Schio into the post-season, but progression is now no longer in their own hands. If Spar Girona lose on Wednesday Schio will make the Quarter-Finals, otherwise the Italian side will drop into the last eight of EuroCup Women.
Later on Saturday, ZVVZ USK Praha proved too strong for TTT Riga as the Czech champions completed a comfortable 84-64 success in Prague to finish the Regular Season 10-4 in Group A.
The visitors had no answer to the one-two punch of Brionna Jones and Alyssa Thomas, with the former showing out and claiming a massive 32 points after making 14 of 18 from the field. Meanwhile Thomas recorded an all-action 19 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists.
The dream of a Quarter-Finals place has now ended for TTT Riga, who will now switch to the EuroCup Women Quarter-Finals - whatever the outcome of their last Regular Season game on Wednesday against KSC Szekszard.
