MUNICH (Germany) - Having made the Team of the Week after the opening round of action, UMMC star Maria Vadeeva has went one better, being awarded the accolade of Top Performer for Week 2.

She produced a typically imposing frontcourt display for the reigning champions as she went to work in an 89-67 victory against Nadezhda. Vadeeva put her opponents to the sword with a brilliant 30 points and 11 rebounds, shooting 78 percent from the floor and at one stage, looking like she might be on course for the tournament’s scoring record.

Her efficiency valuation of 39 has her installed as the favorite for the Fans' MVP for Week 2 – although that will hinge on what supporters do in our interactive vote below.

They have plenty of other talents to choose from, including DeWanna Bonner of Dynamo Kursk, who like Vadeeva, was also in the mix last week too. Her latest contribution saw her instrumental in Kursk easing out Famila Schio 70-65 to remain unbeaten as she came to the party with 25 points and 14 rebounds.

Stephanie Mavunga was flagged as one of the debutantes to watch this season and the BLMA powerhouse has not disappointed so far. She laid the foundation for the French side to get rolling as they outlasted Arka Gdynia 77-73 thanks mainly to her 27 points and 10 rebounds.

She is joined by BLMA teammate Samantha Whitcomb, with the Opals' guard claiming 14 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in the victory.

One player very familiar to the Team of the Week from her 2018-19 exploits is Alyssa Thomas of ZVZ USK Praha. She was back for the Czech giants with a blistering showing at Bourges in a one-sided 93-64 victory as she claimed 31 points, 12 boards and 6 steals.
