MUNICH (Germany) - Alina Iagupova became an instant favorite at her new club Fenerbahce as she guided her side to an exciting 86-82 success against Spar Citylift Girona in her first EuroLeague Women game for her new club.

Iagupova amassed an efficiency rating of 29 for the Istanbul juggernauts and was crowned Top Performer after  22 points, 8 assists and 3 steals. Whether she will also now be named be the Fans' MVP for Week 1 will depend if she gets the nod in our interactive vote below.

She is joined in our Team of the Week by her Fenerbahce colleague Cecilia Zandalasini, who also impressed against Girona as she shot the ball well and converted 67% from the field for her 21 points.

DeWanna Bonner needed to be on top form in her new role at Dynamo Kursk and she suggested the Russian club will still compete for honors after a 79-64 win against Lyon. The versatile forward contributed 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals.

Nadezhda got off to a winning start as Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe emerged as the game-winner with a double-double of 15 points and 17 rebounds in the road victory at Gelecek Koleji Cukurova

A third Russian victory came for UMMC, although they arguably took their foot off the gas in an 87-79 road victory at Castors Braine. It was a good job that Maria Vadeeva did the business with a big double-double. The Russian national team leader added 22 points and 10 boards as she shot almost 60 percent from the floor.
