Gdynia make it three in a row and Famila Schio get it done at home

MUNICH (Germany) - Arka Gdynia made everyone sit up and take notice on Thursday night as they recorded one of the most impressive results of the Regular Season so far to make it three straight wins.

Gundars Vetra and his side collected a fabulous and resounding 87-71 victory at LDLC ASVEL Feminin to improve to 3-3, while their opponents are now a disappointing 2-4 in the Group.

Barbora Balintova outshone the Lyon backcourt and got the better of the likes of Julie Allemand and Marine Johannes to finish the game with a stellar 22 points and 9 assists.

 
There were other huge performances for the visiting Polish side, with Mariya Papova outstanding in dropping a game-high 29 points and Germany national team forward Marie Gulich going 6 of 7 from the floor and adding a 13 point and 10 rebound double-double.

Famila Schio had to come from behind and hold their nerve against Spar Citylift Girona to get the job done. They overturned a double-digit deficit to eek out a narrow 58-55 victory behind 18 points and 6 boards from Slovenian center, Eva Lisec.
