MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) - It was another thrilling week in EuroLeague Women as clubs made moves towards the post-season. We see how it went down on social media and check in in with those involved.

Bourges Basket celebrated punching their ticket for the Quarter-Finals as they eased out ESBVA-LM 64-60 and that brought delight for captain Elodie Godin.

She said: "This team is incredible. We were 1-5 two months ago, now we are in the Quarter-Finals. This was not our best game, but we won and it's what we wanted.

"Villeneuve are a very aggressive team and they made some good defense, but we found some new options in the second half."

The win was also helped by the dynamic Marine Johannes, who was again influential and hit this absolutely sweet one-handed triple, beautifully shot courtside in slow motion by Bourges.

In those Quarter-Finals, Sopron Basket will have home advantage as they wrapped up second place in the Group with a terrific 77-61 road win at ZVVZ USK Praha.

The team were roared on by an army of travelling fans and that was celebrated by all of the players and staff - including Spanish guard, Angela Salvadores.

Angelica Robinson played for Nadezhda at the Final Four in 2016, but didn't enjoy her return to Orenburg as Perfumerias Avenida crashed 89-78, having trailed by as many as 30.

"We were really tired and that's why we started the game so badly, but I am still really happy and proud about how we came back and fought until the end," said Robinson.

"While we have chances to make the Top 8, we want to do it and I don't want to think about EuroCup Women yet.

"I have great memories of playing for Nadezhda and we had a great team two years ago when we lost the Final against Ekaterinburg and it still hurts," confessed the center.

Avenida will play next week against Famila Schio for the last ticket in the Group to the Quarter-Finals and Robinson will have to match up with Isabelle Yacoubou. Even if the Italians lost to UMMC this week, the French frontcourt powerhouse was terrific and will be a big threat to Avenida's hopes on Wednesday.

CCC Polkowice will end their participation on the final game day of the Regular Season, but will be looking to go out on a high with another win, after they picked up their third of the season against Castors Braine.

That was largely down to another blistering effort from Alysha Clark as she led the way in the 80-66 success.

Finally, Yakin Dogu Universitesi showed their title credentials as they put themselves in the box-seat to top Group B after completing a derby double with a 65-76 triumph at Fenerbahce.

Kayla McBride was as influential as ever, while Elin Eldebrink was also on fire and made 6 of 8 from the field.

"We were on the same page on defense which permitted us to take the win in a tough atmosphere," mused the Swedish international guard.

"We need to keep our same level and same intensity to reach our goals, step-by-step," she added.
