    Li lights it up to land March MVP honor

    MUNICH (Germany) - Besiktas standout Yueru Li has been rewarded for her superb contributions in propelling Besiktas to their maiden Final by being crowned MVP for March.

    The China national team powerhouse recorded a pair of outstanding performances for the Turkish club in their Semi-Finals contest against Spar Girona.

    A huge factor in a dream debut season, Li was has been largely unstoppable lately and taken Besiktas to a position where they can now seriously eye up EuroCup Women silverware.

    The center attained a highly fruitful performance efficiency valuation of 26.0 during the month and this was due to her harvesting a super double-double of 16.0 points and 12.5 rebounds across both games. She was a handful throughout and shot 66 percent from the floor.

    In the first meeting with Spar Girona, Li took it to her opponents to spearhead an 81-60 victory, finishing up with 20 points and 10 rebounds as Besiktas leaned towards the Final.

    Then in the second leg, she made sure her team fended off any prospect of a Girona comeback by adding 12 points, 15 boards and 2 blocks in a 68-66 triumph which wrapped up that first ever Final ticket.
