Bulgaria, Slovakia book spots in FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers

Mr. Do-it-all for Bulgaria - Codi Miller-Mcintyre had another big performance
Bulgaria took care of business on the road in rolling past Austria 82-71 for a 3-1 mark and lock up first place in Group J. Bulgaria were leading 28-13 after 10 minutes and and never let the hosts back into the game.
Codi Miller-Mcintyre did a bit of everything for Bulgaria with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals with Pavlin Ivanov scoring 18 points and Aleks Simeonov picking up 13 points and 8 rebounds. Austria's Bogic Vujosevic led all scorers with 24 points.
Bulgaria will now have a chance to make back-to-back EuroBaskets for the first time since 2009 and 2011..
Jakub Mokran led the way for Slovakia
Slovakia, who have never reached the continental showcase, rolled to an 83-58 win at home over Romania to move to 3-0 in Group I while Romania fell to 2-2 with two losses to Slovakia. The hosts turned an 18-5 advantage in turnovers into 30 points off Romania's turnovers.
Slovakia took control in the second quarter to ease to the win with Jakub Mokran coming off the bench to score a team-high 22 points. Timotej Malovec collected 19 points and 7 assists and Vladimir Brodziansky had a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds. Alex Olah had 11 points in the loss.
Iffe Lundberg led a balanced Denmark team past Switzerland
Denmark top Group H with a perfect 3-0 record after registering a 94-81 home win over Switzerland. The Danes conceded just 9 points in the second quarter and carried that to the victory, which dropped the Swiss to 0-4 in the group.
Star Iffe Lundberg paced six Danish players in double figures with 22 points while Bakary Dibba scored 14 points, Dane Erikstrup had 13 points and 9 rebounds and Darko Jukic chipped in 10 points and 9 assists. Juan De La Fuente picked up 22 points in the loss.
Denmark have good chances to reach the Qualifiers as they can afford a six-point loss to Kosovo in the final game in the group on Saturday.
In the other game, already-qualified Croatia fended off Luxembourg 91-79 on the road for a 4-0 record in Group G. Croatia built a 22-point lead but watched as Luxembourg got within 8 points with 3 minutes to go before the home side dropped to 0-3.
Toni Perkovic paced Croatia with 23 points and Mateo Dreznjak contributed 16 points. Alex Laurent was Luxembourg's top scorer with 13 points.
