    TEL AVIV (FIBA EuroBasket 2017) - Georgia exacted revenge on Lithuania with a 79-77 victory in their FIBA EuroBasket 2017 Group B opener.

    Tornike Shengelia poured in 29 points and Michael Dixon had 12 points and 7 assists as Georgia won two years after Lithuania beat them in the Round of 16 at FIBA EuroBasket 2015. Mindaugas Kuzminskas paced Lithuania with 18 points.
