    LA RIOJA (FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Americas Qualifiers) – With over 10 thousand fans in el Super Domo de La Rioja, Argentina had a dominant start in the FIBA Basketball World Cup Americas Qualifiers with a 96-63 win over Paraguay.

    The Argentinians dominated from the get-go with a 26-16 first quarter. Paraguay cut the difference a few points, but the argentine steamrolled on the third quarter, to get a comfortable lead on the scoreboard.

    Luis Scola led the argentine team with a 22 point, 11 rebound and 6 assist performance.

    Argentina will now travel to Panama City to face the Panamanians on November 26. Meanwhile, Paraguay will face Uruguay on November 26.
