Hebraica Macabi jumped out to a strong start as they aimed to stay atop Group C, with Erensto Ogilvie going a perfect 100 percent from the field for 7 points in the first quarter while Luciano Parodi added another 6 using their size in the paint to get baskets.
Jordan Williams controlled the boards early for Macabi, grabbing 6 rebounds, but could not stop both Kayo Manfio and Devon Scott from adding 6 points each for Flamengo.
Trailing 20-17 after the first quarter, Flamengo pushed back in the second frame as Scott Machado, Franco Balbi and Guilherme Deodato all picked up the pace offensively and the team shot an impressive 62.5 percent from two-point range despite struggling from behind the arc.
Macabi's big three of Williams, Parodi and Ogilvie continued to produce while Franklin Hassell added to the scoring, but at the half Flamengo had completely cut the deficit as the teams were tied 36-36.
Controlling all areas of the game by the half, Flamengo created basket chances in transition while also tallying 12 points from their bench compared to Macabi's 5.
The third quarter was all Flamengo on both sides of the ball as they fiercely defended and held Macabi to just 10 points while scoring 22 of their own led by the efforts of Balbi and Deodato each adding 7 points while Gabriel Galvanini added 5 in the quarter.
Defensively, two of Macabi's strongest players of the game in Parodi and Williams were each held to just two points in the quarter.
Macabi picked up their efforts in the fourth quarter, but the 12 point deficit created by Flamengo in the third was too much to overcome as Flamengo won their second game in a row on back-to-back nights.
