    Argentina announces 24-player preliminary list for World Cup Qualifiers

    BUENOS AIRES (FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019) – With almost every member of the FIBA AmeriCup 2017 team, The Argentinian Basketball Confederation (CABB) announced the 24-player preliminary list of players that have been invited to the first window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Americas Qualifiers.

    The Argentinians will host Paraguay on November 23 in La Rioja and then play Panama three days later in Panama City.

    Olympic 2004 Gold Medalist Luis Scola, star point guard Facundo Campazzo, sharpshooter Máximo Fjellerup and offensive powerhouses Gabriel Deck and Patricio Garino highlight the Argentine preliminary list for the first window of Americas Qualifiers.

    Argentina, who finished second in the FIBA AmeriCup 2017, will also take on Uruguay in Group A of the Qualifiers to the FIBA Basketball World Cup.
