Rising star Chen Ying-Chun also shined at the World Cup Qualifiers for Chinese Taipei and will be expected to do the same here. The 26-year-old guard will be a player to watch as he tries to qualify and get a chance to play in the Asia Cup for the first time.
Chinese Taipei will be playing both of their first games in the first window of the Asia Cup Qualifiers at home. The first game will be on 21 February against Malaysia, followed by a clash against Japan on 24 February. Both games will be played at 6:00 PM (GMT +8) in the Taipei Heping Basketball Gymnasium.
