Groups confirmed for FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2019 in Thailand
BANGKOK (Thailand) - The groups for the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2019 have been confirmed ahead for the clash in Thailand from September 24-29.
BANGKOK (Thailand) - The groups for the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2019 have been confirmed. The 8 participating teams were placed into two groups and will be playing for the title of the best club in Asia from September 24-29 in Thailand.
All 8 teams were seeded according to the performances of their respective country’s representative clubs from last year.

From there, they are alternately placed in a serpentine format into each of the two groups, Group A and Group B, accordingly to their seeded rankings.
Hosts Hitech Bangkok City are in Group A with Iran Super League champions Naft Abadan, Bahraini Premier League titlists Muharraq, and the Fubon Braves, the champions of the Super Basketball League of Chinese Taipei.
2018 finalists and B.League champions Alvark Tokyo find themselves in Group B with KBL champs Hyundai Mobis, Alfa Lebanese Basketball League winners al Riyadi, and CBA title-holders Guangdong Southern Tigers.
The Final 8 round of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2019 will tip off in Thailand on September 24 at 13:00 (GMT +7) with a clash between Naft Abadan and Muharraq. All teams will be in action in the first three days of the tournament before the Group Phase comes to an end on September 26.
After a rest day, the top two teams from each group will proceed to the Semi-Finals on September 28 starting at 18:00 (GMT +7). The Finals will then be played on September 29 at 20:30 (GMT +7) to determine the winner of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2019.
