Al Manama, Sharjah and Al Arabi qualify to Round 1 of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2018
MUSCAT (FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2018) - Al Manama, Sharjah and Al Arabi have qualified for the 1st round FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2018 after finishing among the top three at the GBA Qualifiers.
MUSCAT (FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2018) - Al Manama, Sharjah and Al Arabi have qualified for the Round 1 of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2018 - Road to Final 8 West Asia after finishing among the top three at the GBA Qualifiers.
Sharjah of the United Arab Emirates swept the entire competition, recording five wins to rule the tourney and secure their berth in Round 1. They won all three of their Group B games before subduing Qatar's Al Arabi in the Semi-Finals, 90-86, and Bahrain's Al Manama in the Final, 99-94. Al Arabi defeated Bahrain's Muharraq in the battle for third place, 80-70.

Sharjah, Al Manama and Al Arabi will join Al Riyadi (Lebanon), Petrochimi (Iran) and Sareyyet Ramallah (Palestine) in Round 1. They will also be joined by a club team from Kazakhstan and another club side that will fill up the wild card spot.
Those 8 teams will be divided into two groups with the top two from each group qualifying to play in the Road to Final 8 - West Asia from which 2 teams will represent West Asia in the Final 8, where teams from China, Japan, Korea and Philippines have already directly qualified.
