CHENZHOU (FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2017) - BC Astana once again leaned on Justin Carter in whipping Sareyyet Ramallah, 69-51, to get their second win in the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2017.

BC Astana and Sareyyet Ramallah started the game close, but the Kazakhstan side broke the game open in the second period to lead, 37-19, at the half and never look back.

Astana displayed great ball movement and defense in this encounter, gaining more assists than their Palestinian foes, 16-6, and also forcing 24 turnovers from Sareyyet.

Justin Carter hit 4 three-pointers on his way to 23 points to lead Astana, which also drew 9 points each from Anthony Clemmons, Alexandr Zhigulin and Anatoliy Kolesnikov. Foreign players Tood O'Brien and Anthony Weeden paced the losing side with 18 and 16 points respectively.

Astana close their group phase against Mono Vampire Thailand tomorrow, while Sareyyet Ramallah have probably seen their chances of advancing sink down the drain.
