NONTHABURI (FIBA U18 Asian Championship 2018) - Asia’s finest youth talents now have a confirmed timetable to take stage as the finalized competition schedule for the Group Phase, Playoffs, and Final Phase has been announced.
The FIBA U18 Asian Championship will be tipping off it’s first game in Stadium29, Nonthaburi at 10:00 AM where the defending champions Iran will be taking on Indonesia. The opening ceremony will be at 2:30 PM which will be followed by a game between Hosts Thailand and debutants Australia.
All groups will be seeing action across two venues (Stadium29 in Nonthaburi and Thai-Japanese Stadium in Bangkok) throughout the entire three days of the Group Stage.

The group stage concludes on August 7 with the top teams in each group proceeding to the Final Phase in the Quarter-Finals, starting on August 9. Teams that finish 2nd and 3rd in each group however, will play in the Playoffs on August 8.
The second-ranked team in Group A will play the third-ranked team in Group B and vice versa. Similarly, the second-ranked team in Group C will play the third-ranked team in Group D and vice versa as well.
The Final Phase will continue on for three days, reaching the tournament’s climax at 3:45 PM on August 11 for the FIBA U18 Asian Championship Finals.
All games in the Playoffs and Final Phase will be played at Stadium29, Nonthaburi.
