The tournament will be played in Qatar for the second consecutive edition after also playing in Doha in 2022.

The finalized 12-man rosters of the 16 national teams are below:

Group A: Australia, India, Lebanon, Sri Lanka

The tournament tips off on 17 September with defending champions Australia against India in Group A at the Al Ghafara Sports Club Multi-Purpose Hall and a marquee matchup between New Zealand and Korea in Group C at the Al Rayyan Indoor Hall. Both games are scheduled to start at 11:30 local time (GMT +3).

The top four teams of each group at the end of the Group Phase will qualify directly for the Quarter-Finals. The second and third-place teams will play in the Qualification to the Quarter-Finals Round with teams in Group A playing against teams in Group B while teams in Group C play against teams in Group D.

The teams that advance to the Semi-Finals will also qualify for the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2024 to be held in Turkiye from 29 June to 7 July next year.
