One major indicator of that is the livestream views, and based on the various social media platforms of FIBA and participating national federations, livestream broadcasts for the 15 games of the group phase recorded more than 2.2 million views.
As the Quarter-Finals ended on Day 5 and the last four berths to the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup were finally filled up by New Zealand, Australia, the Philippines and China, Twitter also lit up with emotional reactions from all corners.
