FIBA U16 Asian Championship schedule confirmed

BEIRUT (FIBA U16 Asian Championship) – In anticipation of FIBA U16 Asian Championship, set to take place in Foshan, China in April, FIBA has announced the finalized schedule for the Group Phase, as well as for the Final Phase. 

The FIBA U16 Asian Championship will qualify four teams for the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2018 in Argentina. Debutants New Zealand and Hong Kong tip-off the action in Foshan at 11:00 local time. A Total of 15 Games will be played in the Group Phase.

The Group Phase concludes on April 4, with the second and third placed teams from each group vying for the four remaining Quarter-Final spots via the Qualification to the Quarter-Finals.

The four winners will the meet the four group winners on April 5.

Action concludes with the Final on Sunday 8 April, with tip-off at 18:00 local time.
