    FINAL FOUR field confirmed - Africa Basketball League 2019

    ABIDJAN (Cote d'Ivoire) - The Africa Basketball League 2019 Final Four field has been set, following the conclusion of the ELITE 8 on Saturday.

    ABIDJAN (Cote d'Ivoire) - The Africa Basketball League 2019 Final Four field has been set, following the conclusion of the ELITE 8 on Saturday. 

    Four teams, representing four countries, will be participating in the final event of the newly-reformulated Africa Basketball, which started early this year with the participation of 16 teams.

    The qualified teams are the following (in alphabetical order):

    Association Sportive Sale (Morocco), Jeunesse Sportive Kairouanaise (Tunisia), Primeiro D'Agosto (Angola) and Smouha Sporting Club (Egypt).

    The results of the ELITE 8 second leg are as follows:

    Primeiro de Agosto v Petro Atletico Luanda: 74-57 (aggregate: 144-114)
    Smouha SC v Al Ahly 88-81 (aggregate: 179-163)
    Etoile Sportive Rades v Jeunesse Sportive Kairouanaise: 73-74 (aggregate: 140-142)
    Association Sportive Sale v Civil Defenders: 96-77 (aggregate: 165-146)

    The Final Four will be played in May. An announcement will be made at a later stage in regards to the draw and the hosts of the Final Four.
